I have been a Director of Housekeeping for many years and most hotels do not offer complimentary hotel laundry service, however, if you can get ahold of the housekeeping manager or Director, and ask for something to be laundered, they will often times do it free of charge. Not always, but sometimes. Of course, this depends on whether or not they have the equipment to do it. Most hotels only have machines that are of a high output caliber. Meaning, 3–5lbs of guests laundry would be a waste of resources because we don't want to put your laundry with the hotels laundry to make a full load.
