According to a market expert at P&S Intelligence, the aerosol market is poised for significant growth, projected to expand at a rate of 6.4% and reach USD 149.7 billion by 2030. This growth is driven by rising demand for household and personal care products, such as deodorants, room fresheners, hair sprays, and sanitizer sprays.

By the end of this decade, the hydrocarbons segment is expected to remain the largest, with products like propane, butane, and isobutane maintaining continuous pressure and optimizing space efficiency, accounting for 85% of the product's volume.

Aluminum is anticipated to experience the fastest growth in the packaging materials sector, primarily due to its desirable characteristics, including being lightweight, recyclable, and visually appealing compared to alternative materials.

Historically, personal care products have dominated the aerosol market. Items like hair sprays, deodorants, and makeup sprays are commonly utilized in aerosol form. With an increase in consumer spending on personal hygiene products, the demand for aerosol personal care items is expected to grow even further in the coming years.

In the past, Europe led the market, driven by strong demand from the personal care sector, particularly in skin care, as well as from household, industrial, and automotive applications. The expansion of these industries is contributing to rising aerosol consumption and boosting the regional market.

The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is projected to grow the fastest, fueled by increasing awareness of cosmetic products such as shampoos, conditioners, bath and shower items, men's grooming products, and deodorants. A growing focus on personal hygiene and rising disposable incomes are also contributing to market growth.

Emerging economies like China, Brazil, India, Thailand, and Indonesia are attracting investments as many multinational corporations shift their manufacturing bases to these countries, thanks to the availability of affordable labor and accessible raw materials. This industrial growth is expected to further drive demand for aerosols, particularly for greasing and lubrication applications.

Overall, the increasing demand from the personal care industry and rapid industrialization in emerging economies will continue to propel aerosol demand worldwide.
