Powerhouse brands are typically able to weather the short-term setbacks caused by product recalls and recover in the long run, but negative publicity can be fatal for even the most well-established of businesses.

It is possible that major brands could have saved millions of products and millions of dollars in profits if they had invested just a fraction of the money they were spending on quality control inspections during the manufacturing process.

Take steps to ensure that your manufacturer produces high-quality products in accordance with their stated commitments.
In order to put your trust in a third-party manufacturer, particularly one that is located in a foreign country, you must be confident that the manufacturer will deliver a product that meets all of your specifications.

inspections should be carried out before, during, and after production - this is essential for maintaining consistency in product quality over a long period of time.

When it comes to the  Services industry, there are several different types of inspections that are carried out.

On-site factory inspections and testing, as well as detailed reports, are all part of our  services, which help to ensure that your products meet your specifications and that product quality is maintained throughout your supply network.

Softlines and hardlines are examples of non-food products that can be tested using the internationally recognized ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1) statistical sampling procedure.

In order to assist inspectors in determining an acceptable quality tolerance level for defects or non-conformity, manufacturers and suppliers should provide checklists to the inspectors.

Factory inspections for defects are carried out by marking products (units) that do not meet the specifications of the product's intended application.

The dimensions do not meet the requirements of accepted standards.

Inspection Services Provided On-Site to Ensure Product Quality On-site factory inspections are primarily concerned with monitoring the manufacturing process as well as evaluating the physical condition of the finished products to ensure that they conform to the specifications of the client's order.

According to the requirements of the buyer or supplier involved, factory inspections can be carried out at any stage of the manufacturing process, including the design stage. Here are a few illustrations:

1. Preliminary Production Inspection (preliminary production inspection)
Products are inspected prior to being put into production, and they are inspected again after they are put into production until 20% of the production process has been completed.

When performing an Initial Production Check, it's essential to pay close attention to the First Article Inspection. This inspection is responsible for inspecting the very first item to come off a production line at the factory. Considering that it is the first and last opportunity to physically inspect the final product and identify any defects before it is mass produced, this is an extremely important step in the manufacturing process.

Quality control inspectors typically remove approximately 20% of a batch from the production line before conducting an on-site DUPRO inspection.

In order to ensure that production is rigorously monitored and that the factory is held accountable from start to finish,  inspectors conduct daily on-site inspections at the factory. This is an especially advantageous option if you are a supplier working with a new factory and want to establish a professional working relationship with them.

The fourth step is known as Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI).
In order to ensure quality, inspectors conduct a standardized sampling procedure for a PSI when production is at least 80% complete. They inspect a portion of randomly selected units in all batches in a systematic manner to ensure quality.

The fifth step is called the Container Loading Check (CLC).
With the container loading check, you can be sure that the correct amount of different styles, sizes, and quantities are shipped out, as well as that the containers are properly loaded to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

Furthermore, Quality control inspectors inspect the packaging to ensure that it complies with safety standards for the destination market and that the coverings will protect the product from damage caused by soiling.
