The sources of A Class in Miracles may be followed back again to the collaboration between two people, Helen Schucman and William Thetford, both of whom were outstanding psychologists and researchers. The course's inception occurred in early 1960s when Schucman, who was a scientific and study psychiatrist at Columbia University's School of Physicians and Surgeons, started to see some internal dictations.
