As per the latest counting of tigers in Ranthambore National Park and Sariska National Park, the number of tigers are more in Ranthamborein Comparison to Sariska National Park Ranthambore Park is spread over 515  Square mile, Ranthambore Park is having kanas river in the north side and Chamble river in the south of Ranthambore  National Park is one of the biggest park in state of Rajasthan and this Park is approx    14 K.M away from city of Sawai Madhopur Ranthambore National Park is surrounded by Aravalli and Vindhya hill ranges and this Park is very famous for best of wild life specially friendly tigers. There are numbers of water bodies spread all over the Ranthambore National Park and all these water bodies provide a big relief to all the wild animals of Ranthambore National Park specially in hot summer weather.

 

One can see a very huge old Fort and Ranthambore National Park is named after this Fort. There are many remains of this Fort can be seen still here and it gives a wonderful looks to the Ranthambore National Park.

In the past, Ranthambore National Park was known as Swai Madhopur sanctuary, in the year 1980 it was declared as Rantjhambore national Park. The most beautifull and majestic tiger can be spotted during day time as well as easily as they do not have any fear with the presence of Jeep Safari or human being presence in the Ranthambore National Park. Only during monsoon from July to September Ranthambore National Park is closed otherwise its open all around the fear, for any wildlife lover or those who love bird watching  Ranthambore National Park does not have much dense forest expect some greenery or grassland near the water bodies and that why sighting of wild animals such as tigers is very easy over here, you can find around ten zones for the purpose of wild life Safari in Ranthambore National Park and all of them are easily having good trek for Jeep Safari or for a canter Safari and its gives you unforgettable life time experience of sighting of the very good wildlife animals and birds around Ranthambore National Park which is hard to find in any other Nationa Park Of India. As per the Forest Department of Rajasthan  one tigress, named Ridhi will be sent here at Sariska National Park because at Ranthambore National Park two tigress named Ridhi & Sidhi are fighting with each other for there territory.

 

As of now the No. of  Tigers in Ranthambore National Park :-

                                      Total Tigers = 73

                                      Adult Tigers= 53

                                      Cubs = 7

At Sariska National Park :-

                   Total Tigers = 23

                   Adult Tigers = 16

                   Cubs = 7

 

 As  there  is  fierce  fighting  between  two Tigers Ridhi & Sidhi.  So one of them is being shifted very soon to Sariska National Park as No. of Tigers are very less in Sariska National Park in Comparison to Ranthambore National Park.

                                                                                                           DETAILS OF SARISKA NATIONAL PARK :-                                                                       

 

Sariska National Park is only 200 K.M from Delhi and it located in Rajasthan Alwar District, It covers an area of 825 Square K.M in Sariska National Park the core areas is of approx. 500 K.M it was declared a National Park in 1979.  Sariska Tiger Park is mainly famous for tiger sighting, but other than tiger one can see other animals here like leopard, hyena, caracal, Jungle Cat, Ratel, Nilgai, Samber Deer, Spotted Deer, Langur, Wild Pig, Other then wild animals, there are around 212 bird Species have been seen in Sariska National Park, The Best time to visit this reserve is from October till June, Sariska National Park is surrounded by the Aravalli hills, it was declared wild life reserved only in 1978 and it got the status of Sariska Tiger reserve, As Per the Mahabharatas Pandavas spent their last year of Banishment in the forest of Sariska National Park, It was here only that great Bhima was defeated by God Hanumana and one can see there is a Temple dedicated to Lord Hanumana over here.

 

Maharaja  Jai Singh had built a Fort here known as Kankwari Fort, The Forest of Sariska also served as hunting ground of Maharaja till 1955.  Sariska National Park is closed From July to September, One best way to explore wild life in Sariska National Park is through Jeep Safari which can be booked in advance apart from Jeep Safari in which only 6 Person can sit together but other than this the other way to explore Sariska National Park  for a group of 16 People or less then that is to hire a canter safari, in both ways one can explore the best of Sariska national Park Wild life and it’s a different kind of experience altogether, taj mahal with ranthambore tiger safari , in the middle of the forest one can have Darshan of  Lord Hanuman Temple and enjoy some tea or coffee with bread pakoras which is a nice break.

 

From Delhi one can do it on the same day if time is less as its only       200 K.M one way from Delhi and it takes approx Four hours to reach Sariska National Park, there are timing for morning and Afternoon Safari, which is approx for two and half hour and one can return back on the same day to Delhi after completing the Safari in Sariska National Park even overnight trip is well advised in order to explore Sariska National Park if you have time for one night two days then you can also enjoy boating in Siliser Lake and tekking at Balakila Fort, which is quit a beautiful place, there are some heritage Palace near Sariska National Park, one can enjoy the royal Stay at these Palace.

One can always explore Bharatpur bird sanctuary by walking/rickshaw or bicycle or boat ride, the distance from Delhi to Bharatpur is 230 K.M as most of the drive through Yamuna expressway after your arrival at Bharatpur bird sanctuary check in to the Hotel, already reserved for you and relax for a while.

 

After lunch get ready for your Safari inside the Bharatpur bird sanctuary,          taj mahal with bandhavgarh tadoba park , as such there are no restrictions for time specific Safari in Bharatpur bird sanctuary and one can visit this bird sanctuary and one can visit this bird sanctuary any time from Sunrise till Sunset, Motor vehicle are not allowed due to maintain ecological balance one can travel by Bicycles, Rickshaw, Tongas,  Boats are also allowed inside Bharatpur bird sanctuary, if you really enjoy then early Morning or late Evening boat ride is advisable, in order to spot the beautiful birds, it advisable to carry your own water bottle, hat, Mosquito repellent, a pair of Binoculars to have a better looks at the most beautiful birds and this sanctuary is spread over approx 30 square K.M.

 

From August to November you can see residential birds and  from October to November to see migratory birds in Bharatpur bird sanctuary. After enjoying this beautiful sanctuary which is known as Bharatpur bird sanctuary We will move on to Ranthambore National Park and check in already booked Hotel for you to rest in the Hotel, for night rest and get ready for early Morning Safari by Jeep in Ranthambore National Park, before getting into rest we enjoyed the camp fire and swimming pool facility at the resort of Ranthambore National Park. Next day we were ready for our early Morning Safari.

Ranthambore National Park is famous all over the world for its very friendly Tigers, and to see these Tigers many tourist comes here for Jeep Safari to see these Tigers Ranthambore National Park is just 20 minutes drive form Swai Madhopur in Rajasthan.

 

Specially talking of the vegetation of the Ranthambore National Park is tropical and very dry and deciduous and tropical thorn type due to its very hilly track. There are 3 big Lakes, which is called Padam Talab, Malik Talab and Third one is Raj Bag. Padam Talab is the largest of all in the Ranthambore National Park and near this lake there is red Sandstone called Jogi Mahal, which can be see still in good shape over here in the Park. There is a big Banayan Tree which is second largest in India. Its also near the lake which is called Padam Talab.

 

We were told by our very experienced guide during our Jeep Safari that apart from Tigers and Leopards, honeymoon tour of agra , there are striped hyenas, Samber deer, Nilgai Cheetal, Hanuman Langur, Jackals, Jungle Cats, Sloth Deer, Black Bucks, Indian wild boars Chinkara, Toddy Cats, Indian flying Foxes, Indian Mole Rats, Ratels, small Indian Mongoose, and many other birds as well, like total species more than 250 birds species, like Graylag goose, woodpeckers, Indian Gray hornbills, Bee Eaters Terakeets and more.

We were lucky to see tigers in Ranthambore National Park due to expertise of our guide and all in all it was a great tour. We highly appreciate our tour of all three Park.
