Could the Cowboys sign Cam Newton?

It doesn't seem like the Cowboys are planning on signing Cam Newton. Dallas coach Mike McCarthy spoke about Newton after the Patriots released him Cliff Pennington Jersey .

"I think he has a ton of football left," McCarthy said of Newton, per . "But we're very excited about the group that we have."

That doesn't rule out a potential reunion, but it sounds like Dallas is comfortable rolling with the unproven duo of Rush and Will Grier as their 53-man roster options.
