Many mages do NOT utilize conflict magic to train
Many melee-users RuneScape gold rely upon armor like Karil's and black d'hide to shield them well from every kind of combat. This enables them to be protected from magic attacks while still being able to hit hard with melee; ranged armor does not poorly effect the use of melee-weapons.
There are many popular melee weapons out now: the dragon scimitar, the abyssal whip, the DDS, the granite , the anchor, and (maybe most powerfully) the god . The god sword could hit over 50 damage, but since the DDS has the potential to one-hit kill somebody using 99 HP, I considered it the weapon hitting on the maximum damage.
And now we arrive in magical. To start off, there are several ways to train logically. There is alchemy, of course. This costs a lot nowadays, assuming you don't create the nature runes along with the items you're alching. Another way of increasing your magic is that the slow, tedious method of the Mage Training Arena. I've completed it (earned my mage's book), and it is okay for low cost. It's very slow, however, and thus boring.
Many mages do NOT utilize conflict magic to train; the encounter given is awful. When one"mud staffs" they require plenty of soul runes or body runes and continuously cast it onto a goal. To prevent it from functioning, they generally wear melee armor to ensure their magic attack lowers into the stage where successfully casting it's cheap School RS Gold impossible. This method is quite boring and costly, but more about the boring side.
