Feeder service refers to a term where it ensures the transmission of freightage to small ships. However, it may not be possible every time for larger ships to serve directly every day.

SLR, an experienced global freight forwarder, has been providing feeder service for years. We offer feeder service between Jebel Ali and Novorossiysk.

The vessel currently routes from China – Jebel Ali – Novorossiysk and vice versa. We are also extending our service to India port, Mundra, and Nhava Sheva.

Feeder Vessel is a term commonly used in the shipping industry for feeder service. It is a small ship that takes shorter trips in and out of hub ports. Mainly, Feeder's vessel picks up the shipping container from the smaller ports and brings it to the larger vessel for the main voyage.

This is why Mother Vessel doesn't have to consider so many stops. And, as we know, feeders are already small and can easily navigate through small ports. Not all the ports directly have the equipment required for loading containers, so they have cranes to still service ports.
