Is Artle challenging than Wordle?
A lot of people tested their knowledge with Artle first, with varied degrees of success, before posting about their findings on social media. Some were able to track down the mysterious artist immediately, while others had more trouble.
One unfortunate gamer tweeted, "Wow, it's humbling, so far, day one, Artle, wordle about art, lets you guess an artist's name." a viewpoint that BBC journalist Leisha Chi-Santorelli also holds. She cautions social media users, "It's far tougher than #wordle!
Wordle, on the other hand, recently made headlines after the New York Times, creator of the well-known word game, rapidly modified the solution to the game played on Monday, May 9. Why is that? The first time it was used, the word "fetus" was used, which was judged unsuitable at a time when abortion rights were seriously threatened by an impending US Supreme Court judgment.
In a letter to Wordle's players, the editorial director of the newspaper's games section, Everdeen Mason, stated, "At New York Times Games, we take our job as a place to enjoy and escape seriously, and we want Wordle to remain distinct from the news."
It was previously stated by The New York Times in mid-February that numerous words deemed derogatory or unavailable to the general public had been taken off the list of potential answers. The National Gallery of Art is less likely to experience this issue with Artle. - AFP
