A router is an important device for any office or home Wi-Fi setup. It helps you connect to the internet through which all other devices work. It has the feature of circulating your wired LAN network connection into Wi-Fi internet connection. Most of the routers does have Ethernet slots through which you can connect your computer and other devices to utilize the internet or establish a wireless connection. Tenda router is among one of the best service providers router in the market. Before you can access the internet or connect any devices, you have to complete Tenda router setup. The router should be setup properly. When you purchase the router, it is set to factory default settings. These configuration are mentioned in the manual you must have received while purchasing the router. The default login credentials are also mentioned at the back of the router on a sticker. As a part of configuring the router, you must change the default credentials and customize it to avoid unwanted access to your router.

Before configuring the router settings, you must setup the router physically at a proper place. Unbox the router and connect it to a power adapter. Then, connect a Ethernet cable to your computer and router. Thereafter, switch on the router and you will see the lights on the router blinking. The Tenda router must be placed on a smooth surface and not obstructed by many electrical devices.

Now, let’s have a look at the steps for configuration of the router.

Steps to configure Tenda router:

• Open a web browser in a device connected to the router and type 192.168.0.1 in the URL section.
• You will be directed to the login page. Login through the default credentials.
• Then, click on the settings button and select the internet connection as PPPoE.
• Here, you can go forward with Tenda reset password. Change the password from default and apply the changes.
• Then, click on wireless connection and select the enable button.
• Enter the username of your Wi-Fi connection. It will be visible on your devices to recognize the network.
• Edit and modify other settings.
• Then, click on save to apply the changes.

This will complete the configuration of your router. Thereafter, you can click on the Wi-Fi button or icon on your devices. You will see a list of available network within the range. Click on the name of your Wi-Fi. The device will ask for a password to establish a connection. Enter your password and click ok. Then, the device will be able to access the internet through the router.
