Honest Question For Those People Mad About This
NBA 2K20 offered at least eight million copies. If this was at $60 a pop, that's almost half a billion. It will not cost that much to generate a new variant of NBA 2K every year. And that is not and yet much they get out of game ad deals. Yes, a price increase was probably at any stage, but in no way are 2K damaging for money to demand it. Nor will them raising the base price of best place to buy mt 2k21 make them decrease the microtransactions. NBA 2K probably doesn't want the money the most, so they're among the few that may safely take the plunge to a higher price.
In terms of the MT, yeahhhh that's the problem:/ If higher costs meant lowering MT, that would make me happy. However, these companies are not likely to throw away a"great thing". This needs to be a sign of a new benchmark. I really don't feel that 2K is based on NBA 2K's MSRP for profit, I watched both 2K and Madden equally being sold for $25 by Black Friday last year, and even ended up getting Madden from it, essentially two months post release. These matches wind up getting really cheap very quickly and 2K has even been online game pass for a couple months now along with being in humble bundles and getting other heavy discounts. If this really is a movement in costs, I would not be shocked.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but if you charge the standard $60 with this edition, of contribute the extra earnings for charging longer, I am fine with it. I'm uncomfortable with charging more and creating more especially because it's Kobe, if this makes sense. This, there's a way to honor the dead without lining your pockets. 2K, like most corporations, has the primary MO to make max profit. They adore kobe, but probably love him more after his death.
Donating to Kobe charities or which makes it more accessible to fans are a few routes that could celebrate his life. But that's not profitable for business. Agreed. Kobe is different, not just because he is more iconic but because of his passing was. It's a motive to have him.
2K departure to market sales on their game. That's janky. If it's 2K21 inside, you could offer me a piece of paper. Idgaf about a situation. Cover artwork? For what, you're likely to see the cover art on the loading screen nba 2k21 buy mt anyways. Absolutely agree. They're definitely monetizing his name off. If they desired to do it correctly the money for this edition should be donated to the charity Kobe started. I concur. They should at least give some of it off if a business is making money of the passing of someone.
