The molding machine starts recharging material in the barrel during this part to prepare for the next cycle. The screw starts spinning again, and raw material is conveyed down the barrel. The screw is moved backward as the plastic material moves.


Ejection of Completed Pieces

The pieces must be removed from the mold after it has been opened. This stage could be as simple as a single mold ejection pulse, or it could require multiple ejection strokes and advanced robotics. If the machine is fitted with robotics, the robot can instruct the molding machine to begin the ejection operation.
