What is the difference?
Knitted socks involve the use of computer controlled precision needles and optical sensors. Knitted socks do not involve embroidering an emblem on the socks, but the logo is knitted into the same fabric that makes the socks. You send a design first, then the knitting machine will make the production.

On the other hand, sublimation printing involves having a special paper with the image of the design you submitted on it and using it to print the design onto the material. The process involves the use of a heat press at high temperature and pressure to transfer the image to the sock.

During the sublimation process, the sublimation ink heats up and changes from a solid to a gaseous form. It enters the sock in gaseous form, then cools down and returns to its original solid form. It dries as part of the sock, forming the intended patterns.

Knitted socks have several advantages:

It is cheaper to produce. Ideally, weave the logo with yarn. You can choose to use any material of your choice, including wool, hemp, synthetic fiber, and cotton.

· Better with simple, blocky, and contrasting patterns than with a knitting machine. The knitting process adds the pattern to the other fabric of the sock, making it part of the sock.

· It has a more luxurious appearance because it has the logo woven into the fabric of the socks.

· You can produce in a variety of styles, including designer, street and classic styles. It just depends on the variety of threads and needles you are willing to use.

· The most unique feature is that knitted patterns are limited to the number of needles. Needles can be viewed in the same way that pixel density is viewed. For example, 220 needles can be treated as 220 pixels.

Patterned socks
Some of the benefits of patterned socks include:

· You can cover the entire sock with a single image. You can also choose to have multiple images on the same sock or have the same image printed separately.

· You can even use faces in sock designs, as sublimation technology allows you to create printed socks with images of them.

· If you already have a finished piece of art, you can easily print it on a sock. Once you have the image drawn correctly, all that is required is sublimation ink and heat. Sublimation ink is cooled to give an outstanding image on the sock.

· It is easy to print by sublimation. The whole process is quite simple and straightforward, and all you need to do is read the instructions on the machine. You need to know when to use a darker background and a white or nearly white surface.

· You can use illustrations of any style in high resolution, showing any image you want. Printing gives you the opportunity to be creative and you can incorporate any detail you like.

As a general rule, patterned and knitted socks have their own advantages. Whether it's the manufacturing process, the cost, or any other component, they all have unique advantages.
