Im so pleased about the outfits! And the way that the games coexist using all the block-like system! Im officially hyped today, thank you pso2 devs for Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta clearing it all up! Perhaps not the biggest fan of how there appears to be two entirely separate body meshes for style, and it cannot be mixed and matched. Regardless, very pleased with how this is playing out. Maybe because of how New Genesis's Physique Character is likely having additional details like Skin Lustre and Moving Finger animations that must not be transferred over to PSO2 base match, The only desire I had is that a single day, they would patch every style to be mix and mash potential, like for example, using a CAST arm from NGS while the other components are PSO2 components to keep the fingers moving .

Yeah it definitely has to do with fundamentally distinct body projection on the new outfits, and insufficient resources (time and money) to upgrade rigs on current outfits. Considering everything Sega is performing in the graphics overhaul, there is no way this limitation would be set up if it had been an easy fix. And there a quite a great deal of outfits, especially on JP side. I really hope they just slowly update clothing over time particularly the exclusive ones from the product codes and collabs. I would not mind if they make them into a separate NGS scratch when it is going to induce them to do so. This is actually nice. I really do hope though that they slowly upgrade the aged PSO2 Outfits and Layered wears to let finger movement down the road. Notably Collaboration outfits and layered wear (Half-Life, Persona, Anime Collabs, etc). I can understand them do this immediately given all the NEW NGS things they'd want to promote, but I am hoping I don't have to double down on say,"Classic" Exagia Arms and"NGS" Exagia Arms, or things like"Classic" Duskwake Regalia set and an"NGS" Duskwake Regalia set only to possess moving fingers.

Seems like a perfect chance for promote them to you as Scratch things and call them the"GVS" versions or something. I am confident that they do update them but it's more rewarding for them to sell you the remade from scratch outfits than providing them at no cost. I have worked in the industry previously and rigging palms up isn't hard work, the matter is how many costume items would need to be modified with no financial justification. Plus giving folks completely working items with the benefits (on what is basically a brand new game) could deincentivise players purchasing the"new" stuff. Yeah. Personal speculation: PSO2 has been ported into the NGS engine to keep players occupied involving NGS content releases. No new content will be published to it out of makeup, of which will all be obtained/ported out of NGS events/scratches to have folks to perform with that. It is going to be eliminated after a couple of years after all the pso2 buying meseta players have migrated and the only people in the PSO2 cubes are diehards holdouts/nostalgia. Probably. It is a new game so chances are similar to some other Online RPG the first release will not have much about an endgame for the players that hit maximum level on day 1. It will be nice to just switch cubes anytime I want struck up an old UQ though. There is never a reason to not visit magatsu.
