Facebook and Twitter provide two different social media marketing strategies. Facebook is more of a personal networking site as it promotes "reconnecting" with old high school, college,Mrtipsing and former corporate friends and associates. You can also use Facebook to expand your networks to include business interests as well. Blogs are a form of social networking and are often linked through RSS (Really Simple Syndication) on Facebook pages so those within one's personal network can view the blogposts on the home page of the Facebook user.

Twitter is not as personal as Facebook in my opinion. Twitter is a microblogging site that limits all single posts to a limit of 140 characters. Twitter allow users to build large networks of followers in a short period of time.

Following others and being followed is what makes Twitter work. You can just start following people or you can use Twitter's Search to seek Tweets that with similar interests or ones who have specific interests or expertise you wish to get involved in.

LinkedIn is typically used by business professionals with like-minded interests and activities. You can post your resume, receive and give personal and professional recommendations. It is another great way to use social media in business.

In order for any of this to work you have to develop

You need to be working on them all at once since nothing on the list will be successful alone. Make sure you are constantly measuring results and tweaking the plan as needed. For success start using these social media marketing tools.
