Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is more popularly known is a nebulous phytochemical that is found in cannabis. It was discovered by Sir Charles Huxley nearly 150 years ago. It is among the numerous phytochemicals that naturally occur in cannabis plants and can comprise up to 40 percent. It was first utilized by British researchers for treating neuritis. So, what is it about CBD oil that has people so interested? It is believed that it has some kind of cannabimimetic effect and is used to alleviate pain in various ways.
