There have been lots of questions surrounding Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. It is a strange new hybrid of game and PSO2 Meseta growth coming next year, and one of its major features are able to move characters between matches. This has many gamers wondering how it will function and what will or won't be coming over together. Sega recently published an FAQ to address these questions concerning the new sport, and it explained some things about transports. Here is what we heard.

First, while many things will be transferable from the current sport New Genesis, the reverse will frequently not be accurate. There will be new things, emotes, outfits and other items coming to PSO2: NGS that aren't from the current game and won't be transferable. It's been stated that old and new body makeup can't be equipped collectively. This is likely because both games are getting graphical updates, but character models will be different and"morph" based on what game a body decorative is from. The majority of your makeup collection from CAST parts, drapes, hair and accessories carry over to New Genesis though.

Storage will not be a large issue to your extensive collection. Meseta will not be understated, and a brand new currency will be released instead. Sega has said that there won't be Alliance Quarters, Tree or even Storage but that Alliance Chat will cross matches. It seems like Alliances are getting a downgrade, but we still don't know too much about it yet.

As for other currencies, just Arks Cash and Star Gems will operate between games because they can both bought with real cash. FUN and cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta other monies (probably things such as badges) won't be transferable, as New Genesis will probably have new ones in place very similar to Meseta. This is a solid design option because it puts everyone at an even level when starting the match.
