Old School Runescape, the proudly antiquated model of Runescape that still looks and performs like the game I snapped innumerable hours into RS Gold once I really should've been studying, is obtaining a raid. A fantastic raid needs good rewards, so when the Theatre of Blood was declared late last year, players were anxious to see exactly what clearing the multi-man challenge could earn them. Jagex reacted with Justicar armor, a brand new best-in-slot armor set (above). There was one little problem: players totally hated it. They memed onto it so tough that Jagex is now completely changing the armor's design. And not just that, the artist behind the Justicar armor,"Mod West," is utilizing designs submitted and voted on by players. Almost all of Old School Runescape's updates go through participant polls, but that is the first time that the suit of armor has been forged in a passion of memes. The irony is that while gamers hated the'final' armor revealed earlier this season, they loved the prototypes shown when the raid was announced. Initially, the Justicar armor was part of a trio of armor sets, West informs me, but as the Theatre of Blood moved from obscure concept to real content, the armor shifted with it. Participants said there was sufficient DPS gear but insufficient tank gear, so it was narrowed down to only one armor collection. And if they were only going to use one group, Jagex figured they might as well create a new one based on the armor worn with the raid's big bad.

"We thought changing it a little made sense," West says,"but players weren't quite on board with all the first proposal we shared on stream. And then, well, Reddit went wild." The memes came hard and quick. Others thought the new armor didn't seem tanky enough and generously provided some choices, with some calling for a more drastic redesign.

It got so bad that a few players started to seriously believe a meme that the upgraded armor was by another artist, which the artist that left the prototypes had left Jagex. But something amazing happened. Even as memes blotted out the sun, slowly but surely severe suggestions started to shine through. It began with crude Photoshop jobs, but soon appropriate examples and fan art started to crop up. Players rallied around the idea of a milder, blessed armor group motivated by the Runescape god Saradomin, so that they went back into West's prototype layouts and made a few adjustments. Inspired by the memes and inspired by elements of West's designs along with other players' suggestions, legend_arts created a hybrid armor design so good it not merely silenced the memes, it got the attention of West himself. You can locate the modifications in the Konar Drop list segment of this guide, below. The new update added a totally new region to the match, dubbed the Kebos Lowlands. While gamers have delighted over the numerous changes the content that is new has attracted, like the accession of a Farming Guild and also a New Slayer Master, there has arisen quite a little fuss, especially from more experienced players, within the new Konar Drop Table. The newest Slayer Master comes with a rewarding drop, providing rare drops such as Snapdragon and Torstol herbs or magic seeds -- items that are otherwise rather tricky to acquire.

In reaction to this community concerns, Jagex announced Wednesday that the developers would be implementing a codefix to correct the Konar Drop Table. According to the devs, the average worth of Konar's drops will remain the same but there'll be changes. The post also notes that new incentives for example uniques will be added also. Once the upgrade was implemented we'll be sure to OSRS Buy Gold add the details. Meanwhile, we have put together a list of the recent Konar Slayer Master drops as released in the Kebos Lowland update.
