Lisa and Tommy tied the knot around the beach within the Outer Banks from the coast of North Carolina. The couple had vacationed there together in the past and therefore are their happiest around the beach. All the bridesmaids were stunning within our classic Yazmin gown.
There's no real story about how exactly I picked our color scheme and I went back and forth with regards to it a thousand times (as I think lots of brides do) onto it. I wound up choosing the light pink since it was near neutral while still having some life into it, which helped it pop (although not too loudly) from the background of the ocean.
The most memorable part of our big day was throughout the ceremony, when my Dad, who officiated, surprised us by having a rewritten version of Hallelujah describing our love story/wedding. It was so meaningful yet lighthearted and hilarious simultaneously.
I was built with a love/hate relationship using the wedding planning process. We were built with a 7-month engagement and I'm the kind of person who loves to plan out every detail for events but I'm also terribly indecisive.
