We continue to talk about different WoW: Classic aspects. Today we will talk about one of the essential elements of WoW – WOW Gold Classic Making and how it might work in the upcoming Classic. Welcome to our classic WoW gold guide and your untold riches to come.

Gathering and Farming

There are so many things to be gathered in the game – ore, leather, herbs, fish, linen, mageweave, gems, stones, etc. There is much gold to be made from all these reagents.

Gathering is a good way to begin money making. Just find resources to gather or to mine while leveling your character, especially if you are trained in skinning. Note to yourself – you cannot pass 225 skill mark in your professions until you are at least level 35.

A major tip here – you should always sell gathered items at the auction house and use your bank alts to make this process optimized. You should also try to find constant buyers for the mats, they are out there – just ask in the chat and keep your eyes open on the trade chat. That will keep your sales consistent and will save you some time needed to put mats on the AH.

Farming is more suitable for higher level characters (level 40-50+). Farming works around instance runs, killing named bosses multiple times, running dungeons again and again for the chance of getting a desired drop and farming mobs in different areas and spots.

Dungeons

Naturally, the requirements of a perfect grinding spot are best met inside dungeons, where no outside interference is possible, and ensuring you get full respawns instantly, each time you reset the dungeon. The only limitation is that you can only run 5 individual dungeon lockouts per hour before the game will not allow you to create new instances of the dungeon anymore, so plan accordingly.

Flip the Auction House

Auction House is a place where you can buy an item and relist it for a higher price, netting yourself the profit. If you’re good at flipping Auction House, the you can make a huge amount of WoW Gold in a very short space of time.

So you’d better spend every day scanning the auction house by using some WoW Classic addons at the current price of enchanting materials at low prices (such as “strange dust”), and then checking the prices of the green items that people post for sale, which generate dust when they are disenchanted. Enchantrix mod will show you the best guess for each disenchantment. This way can be a fast way to get WoW gold

Professions

In WoW Classic, Professions play a major role in both making money and providing much-needed items towards the end of the game, so it’s worth picking them up as early as possible regardless of what your intentions are.

One of the quickest and easiest ways to earn extra gold is to pick up some gathering professions as early as possible – any two of Mining, Herbalism, and Skinning.

As far as which to pick, Skinning has the benefit of being able to create your own resources by killing enemies, whereas mining nodes and herbs have to be found, and might be taken by other players. If you’re planning on picking up a crafting profession that will use a particular resource down the line, however – like Blacksmithing or Alchemy – it might be worth selecting Mining or Herbalism respectively.

These will allow you to gather resources without too much extra work while you’re levelling up, which can then be sold. Most things will yield more money sold on the auction house, although for the lower-level items, the slightly lower profit of selling to vendors might be worth it for the immediate cash-in, so it’s worth checking how the prices compare.

Crafting professions definitely give options for making money by creating items or providing services that are very valuable, they also take up a lot of resources. Generally speaking, it will be more efficient to take gathering professions while levelling, and then switch over once you hit level 60 and have built up enough of a bank – especially for professions like Engineering or Enchanting, which are particularly expensive to level up.

It’s not just the major professions you should be considering though. The three secondary professions can all be picked up in addition to your two primary professions, and give you another valuable means of making money – especially with Fishing – or saving money by producing resources yourself rather than buying them.

Complete World Quests

World Quests are the second easiest way to make gold. In Legion they still net a fair amount. They're fairly straightforward, just view the rewards that appeal to you and go complete it. Easy as pie. And if you have the time, extremely profitable. Just make sure to complete the Emissary quests for your rep. Even if you're maxed you can still get treasures. Obviously with BFA releasing this is pretty low priority but if you don't have it or are simply bored this is a good thing to do. Aim for the one's with the highest gold reward and I personally enjoy the puzzles as those are fairly simple and the Warden's bounty WQ are easy as well. They don't reward quite as much as they did in Legion, but if you want to it's not a bad way to get gold if you want to get the rep at the same time you can knock out two birds with one stone.

Farming

Farming is the simplest and most guaranteed way to make gold. It comprises using gathering professions (Mining, Herbalism, Skinning, Fishing) to gather trade goods and then sell them on AH. Usually you will not earn tons of gold/hour doing this, but there are very few risks involved and level of knowledge required to start is minimal.

It's important to understand that Gold is a lot harder to make in the Classic version of World of Warcraft.
